Abstract

The discursive plurality of Conquista Espiritual is a central element in shaping the story. This leads us to observe the different voices that make up the text formally making use of different types of narrators, who bring a variety of perspectives on building the world they represent. Our hypothesis is based on presenting the work of Antonio Ruiz de Montoya as the telling of a trip in which the author himself (along with other Jesuits) draws a path that structures the evangelization. So, the whole story is marked by the observer´s voice who, along the route, will yield place to other perspectives that will relate experiences and perceptions of the reality.
