General Duties

All individuals connected with the journal, and authors, referees and journal members in particular, must act in accordance with the following general duties. 

Responsibility

All individuals connected with the journal must act in accordance with the ethical guidelines stated in the journal, as well as other requirable professional standards, and are responsible for the consequences that follow from non-compliance. 

Honesty

All individuals connected with the journal must act in good faith, i.e., they must be honourably motivated by the development of knowledge. 

Thoroughness

All individuals connected with the journal must carry out their work with professionalism, diligence and precision. 

Impartiality

All individuals connected with the journal must ensure that their actions are essentially based on strictly academic and objective criteria. 

Transparency

All individuals connected with the journal must provide all information required to ensure confidentiality. Any existing or potential conflict of interest must be adequately disclosed. 

Respect

Individuals connected with the journal must maintain an environment of mutual respect throughout all of the editorial process. 

Confidentiality

The data, documents and information in general that anyone connected with the journal receives must be strictly used only for the expected editorial purposes, and with the explicit consent of the person providing the data. All information will likewise have a confidential nature and its non-diffusion must be safeguarded.
