Abstract

In this research, I focus on the process of searching for a spiritual essence through the land of my family, by making periodic visits to a plot located in the town of Cahua (Manás, Cajatambo). In this process, I explore inherited knowledge and use it for pottery making, the consumption of medicinal plants, and the use of textile materials. In this way, with the goal of unraveling my own essence, I aim to bring closer the experience of searching, discovery, and methodological experimentation with the land of my family’s origin, through a bodily, material, and emotional correspondence with elements from this same land.
