Contabilidad y Negocios is a scientific journal committed to the development and spread of scientific knowledge. It aims at becoming a global reference point on the areas related to the lines of research promoted by the  Academic Department of Accounting Sciences of Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú: Administration, Current Affairs on Accounting, Management Accounting, Auditing, Banking and Finance, and Business Ethics.

Contabilidad y Negocios assumes the self-imposed commitment to promote gender parity among the members of the International Scientific Committee, as well as among the authors who publish in our journal. Commitment that will be fulfilled from the first issue of 2025.

Contabilidad y Negocios is currently indexed in the following databases: WoS (Web of Science) - Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Dialnet, BASE, CLASE, DOAJ, EBSCO Host, Journal TOCs, Latindex, ProQuest, Redalyc, Primo Central, QUALIS (Level A4) and MIAR (ICDS 9.7).
