Digital Preservation policies

PUCP Journal Portal database uses Amazon Web Services (AWS), which automatically creates backups of data stored in other AWS servers in different geographic regions. Thanks to this function PUCP Library System guarantees the contents and backups are always available and updated on real time.

For the second semester of 2023, LOCKSS module from PKP Digital Preservation Network is intended to be activated for the creation of an extra backup to be used in case of any technical or administrative eventuality that may affect the Portal.
